About Us

A multi-disciplinary clinical service.

We are a multi-disciplinary clinical service dedicated to supporting children's residential homes, their staff, and the young people who live in them. Grounded in our model, we take a trauma-informed and life cycle approach — helping children build hope, resilience, and confidence, while equipping staff with the understanding and reflection needed to deliver therapeutic care. Our team includes psychologists, speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, counsellors, and training clinicians who work together to create lasting, positive change. We believe that every child deserves to feel safe, valued, and capable of becoming the hero of their own story.

What We Offer

Supporting You Through Every Step

Professional Consultations

We offer consultations on clinical issues and, as standard practice, provide written guidance. This includes discussing the children and young people, their risks, presenting behaviours, and also solutions.

Clinical Supervision

Empowering staff with trauma-informed knowledge, reflection and wellbeing support.

Clinical Training

Advice and guidance is given on a range of psychometric assessment measures we complete. These are baseline assessments, some of which are repeated over time to measure progress.

Direct Sessions

We have a blended approach when offering direct sessions to young people. This can be done both face-to-face and virtually. We understand that young people are digital natives born into technology, so often they respond best through this medium.

Specialist Service

Psychometric Assessments

Our Psychometric Assessments provide comprehensive, evidence-based evaluations to help residential homes, local authorities, and education providers understand the cognitive, emotional, and developmental needs of the children they support.

Testimonials

In their own words.

J has been exceptional in the therapeutic support she provides the young people and the team. Her expertise, compassion and dedication shows through in her work with our young people, even when they do not always wish to engage. She also quickly responds to any issues and is always available for consultation when needed for both staff and young people. Well done and keep up the good work!

Staff receive effective training, support, and guidance from the in-house therapeutic clinician that is underpinned by current research. This support enables the staff team to explore children's complex trauma and associated behaviours and to consider how children's needs can be met through consistent care responses. This enables children to feel supported, particularly during times of change and adversity.

— Ofsted Inspector

Staff training and development are a priority. The in-house therapeutic practitioner supports in identifying any team or individual developmental needs. She provides advice to staff to improve the quality of care provided to the children. There is a wide range of training that staff attend to develop their knowledge and skills to meet children's individual needs.
